Manish Aggarwal, was born to Smt. Usha Rani and Shri Parbodh Aggarwal , an affluent Punjabi family in Amritsar . As a young boy he was always inspired by the stories of the great patriots of the nation and dreamt of working for the progress of the motherland.
Despite losing all seven Lok Sabha seats in Delhi in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, the AAP was quickly back on its feet, launching a mass contact programme to demand that elections be held in Delhi.
